My friends are like gems
They are precious to me.
Each one is different
And each one unique.
One may shine
And may Glitter like gold.
Another may be heated
And warms the heart when it's cold.
There may be one like a prism
Where light shines right through.
Another may be mirror like
And shows yourself to you.
One may be big
And protects you from whatever.
one may be hollow
And you play music together.
There may be a gem that is beautiful
And pleasing to the eye.
One may be as black as coal
With hidden treasured inside.
This next one is flat
And it skips when I throw.
The last fits in my heart
And is in my thought wherever I go.
Whichever one you may be
You are still very special to me
I will treasure you, and forget you never.
As long as I live, forever and ever.
